The City of Bandera will receive bids for “Dallas Street Elevated Storage Tank (EST) Rehabilitation” until 11:00 am on April 10, 2024 at City of Bandera City Hall at 511 Main Street, Bandera, Texas 78003. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 11:00 am on April 10, 2024 at City of Bandera City Hall at 511 Main Street, Bandera, TX 78003.

A Non-Madatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held on site on March 21, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at 224 Dallas St, Bandera, Tx 78003.

Bids are invited for the Dallas Street EST Rehabilitation. The tasks will include coating, disinfecting, general tank reparations, dust control equipment, and maintaining system operating pressure.

Bid/Contract Documents, including Drawings and Technical Specifications, are free and only available at CIVCAST at www.civcastusa.com. Sets of hard copies of the bid documents will not be sold. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent (5%) of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Bandera or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond.

Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin.

The City of Bandera reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.

Bids may be held by City of Bandera for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder’s qualifications prior to the contract award.

All contractors/subcontractors must not be debarred, suspended or otherwise excluded from or ineligible for participation in the System for Award Management (SAM.gov).
